Hello ladies need a little help I've got very oily skin on my face and as I'm pregnant it looks a lot worse what's the best face wash to use?
Soap and water but choose a moisturiser for oily skin. Also I used to dab a little sudocrem on spots. I spent so so much buying different brands but realise it’s just basic. I went through all the Clinique regimes plus Clarins and others.
Oh I don't wanna do that I normally use soap and glory face wash but now I'm having break outs
Pjran I agree with you, soap and water is best. The most effective oily skin moisturiser I've found is one from the seaweed range at the body shop
I've got an oily T-Zone and I find Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Hydrating Cleanser works well with my skin.
My daughter swears by tea tree oil. She also likes Clarins but it is quite expensive so only buys in winter.
- Please do not use any astringents as they can dry out your skin and make you break out. If you’d like to use a good toner, try one from Q+A or Sukin.
- I would recommend the CeraVe SA cleanser because it’s also moisturizing and doesn’t completely dry you out.
- I would also recommend The Ordinary‘s niacinamid and zinc serum as that helps to control oil production and reduces break outs.
- Also, have a good moisturizer that doesn’t contain too much fragrance or drying alcohols. I believe a hydrating skincare routine would be best for you.
I use tropic product. Absolutely love them. The face cleanser is one of my favourite product. Not cheap but brilliant x
This is the best face cleaning product I’ve ever tried. I also have combination-oily skin type and used to struggles with adult breaks outs. This totally helped me to get this under control. However, you would need to check with them if is suitable during pregnancy. Best of luck
