Anyone Use The Snoop App?

So I downloaded the Snoop app due to a £5 Amazon vicuher incentive on here.
I been looking at it more and more and you can log all your bills and bank accounts etc it seperate all your payments for you, you don't need to do anything.. I'm shocked on how much I spend on take aways 
apparently I've spent £144 this month (there only me and a 5 year old) and over £400 on retail purchases its not even the end of the month.
I dont tend to stick to a budget, I work and I earn good money and I save a little each month but seeing it all in one go makes me want to buget better. I bet I could save a fortune.
Any one else used the app and shocked at their results?

You could always just use Revolut, Monzo, Wise or such to get it, but that offer's expired.
PhilipMarc this is my spending account I linked up. I like the app ot puts it all in to sections. I have other account where money goes in and also savings etc. They rnt linked to it tho.
MelanieMason I had an account with a Snoop-like service a few years ago, and I totally forgot about it until I decided to clean up my internet logins.
It gave me the creeps seeing my valuable info in there and it was my fault as I signed up. Now, as I've said before, I'm more careful with where I register and all my debit/credit cards.
I personally wouldn't rely on Snoop or the likes to help me with my finances, I'd rather do it myself and make notes where need be.
PhilipMarc I think the novelty already worn off as not used it again since. I'll probably delete it end of May but got to wait till mid May to get my amazon vocuher.
Just deleting the app? That means your account will remain active.
For me, a simple notepad with my financial notes/tips is more than enough. These services don't have much point unless someone is severely incompetent (in that case, it's a valid argument for conservatorship). MelanieMason
I haven't heard of this? Are you snooping on yourself then? It seems to be about finances, a topic that I wish was discussed in schools. It is an essential part of life and it would be better all round if everyone was taught about how to budget, even just to mention that you can't spend it twice!

tumblespots yes on myself it links all your bank accounts and bills and sorts it into categories, there's debt section too if ppl have debt. Quite clever really. I'm fully aware of my budget. I have no debts and all my bills are paid each month and even put money in saving every month for my self and my little one. I never spend wat I dont have i guess it just puts into perspective. I agree that finances shoud be taught in schools as lots of people are clueless these days and get into so much debt so young which affects them for years then they can't pay it back. I teach my little one if you work hard you can buy nice things as that's how I grew up, I started working at 16 and bought my 1st house at 22 but I've always lived within my means.
MelanieMason I'm not sure I would like to give all that financial information to an app myself but can see it could be useful to categorise payments. It's great that you manage your money so well, as you say many people don't/can't and of course you are teaching your own child so that they can learn about money and the value of things too.
tumblespots there was a huge discussion about this app on HUKD and because of it, the deal backfired.
However, if you've got Revolut-like card then that could be used and they wouldn't see a thing.
Moreover, I've been trying to remove my Halifax account from my Bank of Scotland, but I don't know how so I've sent BoS a message regarding it. This doesn't seem to be part of Open Banking.
I joined this app and it looks great. Can I double check if I can delete the bank apps now that are linked?
Look in your account if there's the option "Delete Account," if not, then you need to contact them.
Deleting an app just means you removed the app, while your account remains active.
Nowadays I'm more cautious creating new accounts wherever (before I had like 1500 on the internet and reduced to 100 or less).
