Go on who's got snow then? We've none where I am rarely get it. We get the coldness just not the snow.
Is anyone out of power?
Jerseydrew well I'd it's bad my little one won't be going to nursery lol we have to walk down metal stairs so they will be very slippery
No nothing in outer London , just rain and sleet here. Miserable day out there so put off my plans yet again
telmel ...Where are you oooop North??
I'm in Sheffield & it is expecting more snow Tuesday morning according to local Weather Forecast...We will see..
telmel ...Little sister T lives in Northwich, her daughter S., Fiance A. & their toddler Teddy T live in Winsford & daughter's brother R lives in Northwich too...
All we have is rain, rain and more rain. Plus it is very windy too . Lots of places have flooded and we have flood alerts in place until tomorrow. I'm hoping we see some snow this year as we haven't for a few years now.
I dragged myself out of my warm cosy bed at 7.30am,looked out of our bedroom window & shivered..I wasn't looking forward to my walk to work yesterday morning which usually takes me around 20 min but in snow takes twice as long. I rang my colleague who was on shift to say that I might be late due to the snow only to be told that I wasn't on shift! When I checked my Rota turns out I'm not on shift til FRIDAY..
That should give me time to rest & recuperate from the infection in my leg & splinted wrist after falling near Sheffield 's Walk In Centre in dark foggy weather on Boxing Day. I was on way to appointment to sort infected leg I got from knocking it on bed at work!
Snow in Sheffield NOW,I fell asleep downstairs & woke up just before my partner got up, he told me the snow was coming down like billio & wishes he had left our car at the bottom of the hill as he will struggle this morning to get off our side road & get to the other side of Sheffield for his 7am-7am shift as a Support Worker..
To everyone who has to go out in this ,please prepare adequately,,follow advice given, wrap up warm & stay safe..x
Nothing here but we don't tend to get snow, living by the sea . It's really cold though.
No snow here just lots of rain. I’m sure some areas will be flooded. The USA are having loads of snow and freezing temperatures.
We had quite a lot, most of it has now though, it rained heavily last night, it's freezing, hate winter....
We've got loads of snow and due to get more. Husbands work was closed today as roads were too dangerous. My work was open but it was not a fun drive there.
My little cat cat Phoenix wondering if he will turn white if he goes out in the snow at 7am this morning..
Phoenix decided to hot foot it upstairs to my bed,he slept besides me snorily...
We had snow a couple of nights ago, it covered everywhere but was gone by the morning. My daughter who lives nearby didn’t even know it had snowed as she never looked out the window until the following morning.
No. Thankfully no snow here. I’m glad! It’s nice to look at, but terrible for out walking about in
Had a tiny flurry, which disappeared by the morning. Was nice to see while it lasted. Thankfully, it didn’t disrupt the train journey I was on as it was coming down
We haven't had any snow to speak of, on the way back from town on Monday the rain turned into a little flurry but nothing stayed as the ground was too wet. It's just cold and miserable!
Jerseydrew The weather has really changed in these last years. Instead of crisp cold days we just get miserable grim, gray days....
First time we’ve had snow in a while. It’s really only a dusting mixed with rain but ooh it’s cold. It’s unusual in the south these days. Cars and roofs are white. Road just looks icy.
Temperature is meant to go to -16 in some places tonight. Fingers crossed it won't be that cold for any of you
