I read this in the news and I found it ironic - so is he being a 'snowflake' for not just getting on with it? I believe they permit the army to use their images for whatever it calls for

Snowflake is one of my most hated terms. I undertand the concept but it seems like a blanket term to address people being upset or offended by anything - even if they have a very real reason for feeling that way.

me too - it's not a flattering term, nor do I fully understand why the army have chosen to use it for the recruitment posters. I understand the double entendre but you take these things at face value. It certainly would not make me want to join the army
