Can someone still see or comment on your posts if you've muted them please? Getting sick of ppl trying to pick a fight on posts.

If you "ignore" someone, you will no longer see their comments anywhere on the site. They will still see yours, but it's a great way to remove someone irksome and continue to enjoy the site. Definitely worth trying.
Tom I've muted them x i posted an egg n included size in description but this guy kept on about size and commenting so I've muted him n expired the post even though 20 ppl had liked it and some have bought it x he didn't buy it but had to try n moan about it x must be one of them days x

kitty1 See my other comment - although you've muted him - you haven't stopped him commenting - you're just unable to see what he's said.
kitty1 I'm not sure on this but don't think you should "expire" a deal unless it has actually expired. If you remember who it was causing the trouble I suggest you check his deals to see if he has now posted it - I do suspect (I'm certain actually) there were attempts to "vandalise" my first ever deal. There were two attemps to expire it and attempts to discredit it.
davidstockport thanks for the info x i don't care if he does rant on on my posts i cant see it so it won't bother me x i cant remember his name and didn't check his profile i just muted him n got on with my day x just can't see the point in some ppls nastiness there's no need for it x i do remember your first post n someone always was trying to start n its really not on x i think there should be a block so ppl like that can't see your deals,comments etc x if they keep at it i think they should be banned x hope your having a good weekend and thank you

kitty1 My first posted deal is still there - and it must be an embarrasment to the first $*%Β£ who said it was open to fraud etc. everytime someone sees the way he carried on - I was contemplating not posting any more deals if that was the way they were treated - but later decided I wasn't letting them win.
They can still see your comments - I am not sure if they can comment on them or not*. I noticed when I had a few muted they would make their comments (which I could not see) known to me by posting something to another poster to which the unmuted poster would respond. I, and someone else I know, found muting trouble makers a waste of time. It would sometimes make trying to follow a chat topic almost impossible because we could not see what others were responding to.
* I did notice that they never responded directly though (or if they did I'd never see them) - so at a guess I'd guess they can't.
The real downside is they can definitely post comments and replies on your deals - without you being able to see them - this caused more problems for me than muting them solved (see my first ever deal)
I hope that helps - my advice is just ignore them as best you can.
