Is There Someone on Your Street Who Goes OTT for Christmas Lights/decorations.

No one in my local area seems to bother much with big Christmas decorations/lights, you can see a few hanging lights on people's windows or the occasional Christmas themed light but that's about it.

I know an electrician that goes all out on lights every year. Even his van and car get decorated! He has a couple of horses and he adds reindeer names in lights above their stables too.

I AM that person in the street that goes all out!!

There used to be 2 houses that would both set up lights many years ago and would have salvation army going round collecting carol singers the lot people would come from miles for switch on.

No one in our street or any of the surrounding houses bothers with Christmas lights or decorations outside.

I remember when I was younger and we would visit our grandparents, my dad used to take us for a walk round the neighbourhood to see the lights and there was always one house that everyone had to visit because it was like Santas grotto! It had everything you could think of! Grandad used to take my Dad to see the lights on this house when younger and then Dad took me. It was one of the highlights of staying at my grandparents at Christmas time.

No, it’s pretty tame where I am. But I did work somewhere where there was a house nearby who used to go all out, with an inflatable santa climbing the house and everything. I didn’t mind it

Not my neighbours, but there is a restaurant on the corner of my street that is covered in lights and other festive decorations.
