Something Others Do That You Can't Stand!
Ask a Question
I cannot take those gross chewing noises, you know the ones where they sound like they're trying to suck the roof of their mouth eugh.
Name something that you can't stand...
Being unnecessarily loud in public places. It's so inconsiderate to others, and really bugs me.
I 2nd that, i knew someone that would have to shout every time they used there phone. He was so loud he didnt need to use his phone as the whole town could here hear him
I agree with you. I really cannot stand this either. shouting on the phone really isn't necessary
Behaviour like that is just so obnoxious and rude, I really can't stand that kind of thing. If you're in a public place, it's really not difficult to be considerate to others, but so many people aren't.
Using the word "like" in every other sentence. Started off being mainly Americans, but Brits are doing it now.
As for that loud chewing noise you mention, I despise that. Particularly when they are doing it with their mouths open.
If not 'like' its usually 'literally' or 'obviously' every sentence. Even worse if they use all of them
Glitterandgold You are so like literally correct in what you are like literally saying. x
Can‘t stand the huge bows and headbands that people put on baby girls so everyone knows they are a girl
SarahBenne67061 I understand why they do it because the next time someone says to me how old he I swear im gonna punch them lol
Walking round listening to music on phone without headphones. Sound quality usually bad and I probably don't want to listen to your music
Imnotcheap this really annoys me especially when your on public transport and that not everyone has the same music taste
People who take/steal things or try to that don't belong to them.
Had a recent experience that I'm still fuming about!
People who even though they've had plenty of time to do it while waiting, wait until they're on the bus to get their fare or pass out and so delay all other passengers.
When people stand in the middle of an aisle/corridor/road/whatever else to have a conversation. It would take two seconds to move to one side so that everyone can go around them, but they stand (or park their cars) in the middle blocking everyone instead.
People talking to someone on their mobile, why can't they ever do it quietly? Also when I stand back and hold a door for someone and they can't even acknowledge you, it's like your invisible.
I'm pretty chilled as we all have our quirks but the one thing that pushes my buttons is a finger-licking-page turner.
I am completely aware of Neurodiversity and got a really poor grade myself for English but here it is
It gets to me when people don't use Capital letters for Names and Places
not using them for names I think is just rude and I possibly over compensate and use them too much
I got EE for my GCSE grade so actually quite poor
also i cant stand it if the door mat isn't straight
On that line of thought I cannot stand hearing people saying nothink or everythink, they aren't even words! There are some supposedly intelligent tv presenters who say those words repeatedly.
People breathing on you, people being greedy at supermarkets when there's a good deal and not leaving a single one, people passive aggressvely saying thank you loudly when you didn't even see them while opening a door a bit slowly or something, there's no need to be passive aggressive, it's just rude.
Bubblekitty I think it may be that in the past they have done so and people haven't thanked them.but yes, I wouldn't appreciate people behaving passive aggressive.
Makes two of us, I hate selfish greedy people!
Bubblekitty does that count if there were 6 bars of cadburys coconut chocolate for 20p and I got all of them because my daughter loves it and I put them up for Christmas?
Beezyruth if you or your daughter loves it of course that's fine! You don't need to justify it, I understand! I know how happy it makes me when I find the last of something that I really needed, so I try leave things I don't need so other people can feel the same relief and happiness
