MelissaLee1 I honestly don't know they said he had mental illness but can that be a excuse for everything?

Leannexxx All sorts of head doctors trying to figure the lad out .Some link his behaviours to the Rwandan massacres that his parents escaped .Others blame the input of violence online but I just think he's got a screw loose.

I appreciate that mental health issues can cause a range of problems for those suffering and as someone who is permanently mentally disabled and suffering from various mental health issues I feel like I have to say that this person is just plain bad and evil in my opinion and not "mad" or not right in the head as he has a greater cognitive level of ability which was demonstrated by his planning and subsequent horrific actions on those poor young children. As I say, I'm Grade A mental health issues and I wouldn't dream of doing what he did so it's too easy to just dismiss him as "mental". He's evil and quite frankly a perfect candidate for argument in favour of the death penalty.

He shouldn't even be alive anyway. Keeping him alive will cost millions and never safe to release and yet good people can't get medical care in this country or there are extreme delays. We need to prioritise resources and keeping this monster alive shouldn't be one of them.

BonzoBanana I doubt bringing in the death penalty will ever happen B, it would take a brave government to implement a change like this and from what i have seen one doesn't exist and never will

This country is so complacent , and run by the woke do gooder brigade who help fund the human rights lawyers to keep their bank accounts topped up via the taxpayers 🙄

telmel Especially as Kier Stammer was a human rights lawyer and alledgely represented the father of Axel Rudakubana, who was involved in the Rwandan genocide and later migrated to the UK to escape conviction. Starmer's legal efforts ensured that Rudakubana's father was settled in the UK ...enough said

telmel The thing is we are getting poorer all the time and society is suffering from higher and higher levels of crime. As things get worse and worse the idealistic and unrealistic mentality I believe will become less and less acceptable. The time frame for that could be decades though. Poor countries with high levels of crime can't just keep to idealistic policies. Homelessness is also increasing at a huge rate, there will be more and more people turning to crime and the deterrent will need to be more horrible to stop that.

I assume that this was from a boiling kettle? I can't understand how prisoners are giving access to these facilities, especially as we recently heard how these can be weaponised.

beccatavender I'd assume so, they're in prison, they shouldn't be having access to this sort of stuff inside, it's classed as luxuries for them whilst inside let's be honest

Bring back the death penalty! These sort of people clearly have issues with everything and everyone. They are a danger and full of anger should take their anger on themselves not innocent little girls and people doing their job.

Sounds like lessons aren’t being learned, didn’t the terrorist who did the manchester bombings do almost the exact same thing a month or two back. Why these sort of people have access to anything that can cause harm is beyond me.

Just read this in a daily rag:

Southport killer Axel Rudakubana's prison supervision was 'lowered before officer attack'

When on earth will prison authorities, courts etc realise that someone capable of doing what he did can never ever be trusted to be less than a crazed animal. With a 52 year sentence he really has nothing to loose by reeking as much havoc as possible against those he sees as 'the enemy'.
