Speedos - Good Swimwear for Men?

I occasionally see men in speedos, but the majority of the time they wear swim shorts or board shorts. Most men I know would never ever wear Speedos. If you are a bloke, is this the same for you?
I think it depends on what you're doing. If you're going to the pool just to swim lengths for fitness and training it's fine. But, if you're just going to relax and splash around then it's probably not a wise choice unless you have a ripped body 
Lol the ripped body is perhaps the main reason why some people would wear the Speedos...or sometimes itโs those who think theyโre ripped 
I posted a thread on here about this new fad a couple of hours ago.... I really hope these denim speedos donโt become a thing

Im not a man so i wouldnt wear speedos but i think they look absolutely awful. A pair of shorts look much better than budgie smugglers 
If I was to wear speedos then the emergency services would be called out as it would be shown that I need mental support quickly. Shorts every time!
Yeah they dont look so bad when you see them on the men in the olympics, but the men i see on the beach or at the swimming pool dont pull them off so well
I wear Speedo when sunbathing due to I like an all over tan and not shorts lines, it like asking a woman to wear shorts instead of a bikini, I do wear shorts when going into the pool or beach 
generally, i agree that unless you're well toned then shorts are the way to go.
Then there's nothing nicer than a rounded bum (and without being rude) and a decent bulge!! lol
i have seen men on the beach in thongs too...... which is a whole other can of worms i guess!!??
similarly, i think that if you have the body for it then go for it, just no overwieght hairy bums please!!

What do people think of ladies/girls wearing thong bikinis?
On a few family holidays I have seen young girls in thongs around th pool and have heard a few people say it was inappropriate where children were.
Personally I have no problem with it and I feel it is similar to being topless, in the sense that you would probably cover up if you are walking around .
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a prude, in fact I have worn them in my own garden and at a private villa. But perhaps it's because I don't want everyone seeing my jiggly bits!??

I donโt have a problem with it either, mainly because a lot of bikinis are already skimpy, itโs not like having the butt out is that offensive. I just wouldnโt get a thing bikini, mainly as I find thongs uncomfortable. Not sure how people can wear them for hours at a time (if Iโm in a bikini, Iโm usually planning to spend most of the day in it)
I prefer wearing speedos to swim shorts as I find them more comfortable and nicer to wear, tight speedos are more comfortable for swimming than swimshorts I find personally!! Plus they feel sexy to wear too 
That makes sense. After all, Speedos are a well known swimwear sports brand, so Iโd say their attire are designed for maximum performance 
Omg! And heโs quite proud of it too lol. I donโt think Iโve ever seen white speedos before - very brave
hspexy If you dare google tom jones speedos you will be treated to a surprising large number of images. He was a fan of the speedo. you can also see him doing weights wearing speedos. Basically he liked to show the budgie he was smuggling off as much as he could. Made me feel a little ill
