Is There Staftey Issues if Going Back to Work?
Ask a Question
- What is the health risk?
- how will work be happening?
- how has is impacted you?
There are a lot of risks no matter what the workplace, except perhaps if you work alone. Hopefully, all employers will put all the necessary measures in place and more to make everything very safe. However, unfortunately, I don't imagine all will and as many scientists have said recently, we are easing restrictions prematurely.
I am back in work which I am thankful for as I now have money coming in, although worried about contact with customers, work have given extra hand sanitisers and we have plenty in stock, there is signage and 2 meter distancing stickers on the floor and plastic barriers for when we have to speak to customers. I think if employers want to open then they need to do these kind of things!
Sadly I don't think all employers want to make the necessary changes, although some will be happy to. Others simply haven't got the room for all the distancing required. Imagine wanting to go to a restaurant, can restaurants actually continue if they have only a quarter/fifth of the customers? Life will be very strange from now on...
