What a shame, they are lovely creatures , hunted by men to extinction if allowed , but this one was at least being rescued but sadly it failed

I was very upset when I heard this. I am no expert but you wonder if money was available more could have been done to relocate the poor whale.

It was so sad, especially with all those people trying their best to rescue him, but to no avail.

It sounds like the whale was in a bad way, and they did genuinely try to rescue him, but still very sad that they had to put him down
