Strange Occurrence
Other
Today I received a delivery from Amazon.. two items were expected but a Maybelline eyeliner came too, which I didn't order/buy and it's not on my purchases list and I haven't been charged for it either.
I did however buy a Maybelline master precise eyeliner in black (I've been searching and searching for this!) from *eBay*.. and the one I ordered was the last one left.
I wonder if the retailer from eBay didn't have any left and instead sent me one from Amazon.. the one I wanted is Maybelline Master precise and the one I received is Maybelline Hyper precise..
There was a note saying thankyou for shopping at Amazon and a order no. and a barcode and the order date
Shall I contact the seller on eBay and ask if it was them who sent this item or wait a few days to see if the eyeliner I ordered from eBay turns up or not.. if it doesn't than I can assume it was them???
Once I ordered color pens, markers and they sent me some tooth fixture instead, because in their system it was linked to that product.
But sometimes it can be scam.
Just contact them.
Many of the sellers on EBay are also Amazon marketplace sellers . Happened to me before ordered something off EBay and it arrived in an Amazon Box delivered by Amazon (but not documented from Amazon but EBay ) .
This happened to me last week. The Ebay seller told me they were furfilling amazon orders.
Definitely contact the seller on Ebay, as it sounds like it was them- receiving a random eye liner from someone else would be a bit weird.
I remember once I purchased a book on Ebay, and it came in Amazon packaging, I think it was because the seller had stores on both sites.
Some eBay sellers drop ship items so they sell them to you and get them on Amazon sent to you direct and make a profit and don’t have to handle or send them. Have a look on box or paperwork to see if it mentions anything. If it’s been marked as sent on eBay it most probably is.
emmabeckz ohh didn't know this ..you learn something everyday they say .. thanks
