Lots of places offer student discount but a lot like to keep quiet about it. Where have you seen/used student discount and how much discount was offered?

well there are multiple apps/sited specifically dedicated for student discounts......and from my personal experience i would say

sign up and it gives student discount on a lot of things like Adidas, Nike, Apple, McDonald's, ASOS and lots more
It is a really good site for students and i recommend you to make to make an account on it and also download it's app if you want to keep a regular check on offers. When i joined they had a promotion going on giving 10% off on your bill in Morrison. After that i enjoyed free ice-cream at McDonald's and got 20% off on Adidas shoes.
NUS card holders can always get good discounts: https://cards.nusextra.co.uk I used to use mine at the Co-Op.
I always use mine at Co-Op too, usually hand them over my Co-Op membership card, NUS card and cashback payment card... triple whammy!

Great idea Tom - but can we have an easy way of getting there - maybe a link from the More menu at the top? Otherwise I dont think many people will find it!
didbygraham hey it's a good point to try and make as accessible as possible. If you search "student" you'll see it's now the first thing that comes up in the auto-suggestions. We'll also link to it at the bottom of every student deal.
We currently have 2,100 of such "special sections" so it's too much to put in the menu
I always use my NUS card in McDonald's because you can get a free mcflurry with your order. Also most shops offer a student discount like 10-20% of full price items.
Some offer special student late night openings, free gifts with purchases and special offers higher than the usual discount.
