My Success With The Prolific Site (Earned £20 To PayPal!)
Freebies
This week I have been using a site that allows participants and researchers to work together to conduct studies.
The participants answer lots of questions so that the researchers can carefully choose who they want participating in their study.
For each study you are offered payment.
For studies that take 1-5 minutes to complete, usually the offer is £0.10-£0.50.
For 5-10 minute studies it tends to be £1-£1.50
For 10-20 minute studies it can range from £1.50 to £7!
As you complete more and more studies, you generally unlock access to longer studies, that will pay higher. Yesterday I did a study that only took me 14 minutes and I got £7!
The money can be withdrawn to PayPal once £5 has been earned, due to transaction fees. For transactions of £20 or more, the fees are even less!
Below is proof of my earnings!

Good Luck
Yes I could send you a referral link if you like, it will mean that you get an extra £5 when you make your first withdrawel
JamesHicks sure .....send me it on the same email id i used to mail you the Swagbucks link....
Also to make it clear ..........let say if i withdraw £20 do i receive £25 or is it that £5 will be added to the sum to withdraw next time?
max I have sent you an email. I am not 100%, but I believe that it is added onto your first withdrawal, so you'd receive £25
max Did you answer all of the PreScreening questions? You just have to keep checking back every now and then, they come and go fast due to the large number of participants on the site. Just check regularly and youll find studies!
These are mine from today , as you can see there are plenty there to complete! just check regularly!
Usually takes a day to be accepted, depending on size of study. Don't worry youll have higher value ones soon
JamesHicks hopefully...........it takes lesser time than Swagbucks to earn but the issue is availability of opportunities........
max Yes, its not too bad once you get into checking it every hour or two, it's pretty much the luck of landing on a study that hasn't been completed already. I got lucky with that £7 one!
How long does it take to earn anything decent? It looks a lot like Swagbucks, and I've had an account with them for years and still not earned enough for a payout!!
Let me put it this way, I joined the site on Sunday the 20th, and I now have a balance of £8.95 and £13 pending to be approved (which it always is), the approval process usually takes about 1-2 days. So in a week of every now and then doing the study's, I've earned over £20! I'd say that's pretty good
Money built up pretty quick for me on there, I make over a tenner a day usually. Can take up to 21 days for payment to become payable but usually the researchers accept pretty fast (if they havnt by 21 days prolific automatically accept it). It is very different to swagbucks (personally I prefer prolific). Swagbucks if you wanna make quick points join up to jackpot joy, star spins and virgin games through it, deposit £10, then withdraw the full £10. You'll get 1250 points into your account for each. Heart bingo works for some people too but it didn't track for me, I had to contact swagbucks directly to get my points. Also do the bike insurance quote found in the discover page, 1000 points will pend for a month after you do the quote, mines a few days off becoming payable, but I know others have received their points already
I'm pretty sure there's no incentive for the joinee when joining from a prolific referral link? i know the person referring will receive a bonus equating to 10% of the first payout the referee makes but never seen anything about a fiver bonus, I joined off a referral link and definitely didn't receive any extra in my first payout... Also ive heard prolific sneakily disabled their referral scheme recently without telling anyone, alot of people's referrals are not tracking
Yup there is no incentive for the joinee when joining from a prolific referral link but you can get an extra £5 or more using circle.......check out the deal below
For anyone debating joining prolific this is how much I withdraw within a month and barely spent any time doing the studies and to be fair some of them were quite fun
titchredge the studies are hard to come by......it's been almost 5 days since i joined and i have only earned around 5 till now.
In swag bucks at least they always have something to do....though i do agree that you earn more in less time on prolific.
I find that with prolific it depends what type of person they want. I haven't had many this week but they are mostly set by university's and August has been pretty slow. when they start coming in they are fast earners. The one took me around 8 mins and I got £12.
max all survey sites are different. I never qualify on swagbucks surveys. Mintvine us another good one. Recently started using them again and have had several amazon vouchers. I also have an app called opinion app downloaded. I entered my email address and it connected me to 4 survey panels I am joined upto so instead of keep logging into differwnt ones I now just check the App and I just do the short surveys and withdraw everytime I get £4 on one.
Apologies for incorrect spellings. Trying to play with 4 kids at the same time as typing is not a good combination
Hey.....The site says " Our initial payment threshold is only £5 (with a fee). If you want to minimise fees, then wait until you have accumulated £20. By doing so you will avoid fees if you're in the UK/US by cashing out with circle. Below that amount, circle cash outs are charged 1% + 10p fee. "....................so is fee charged for paypal above £20?
To my knowledge fees are charged on PayPal no matter the amount, circle is free but minimum withdrawal is £20
I've just cashed out on this site. Was wondering does my PayPal account have to be verified in order to receive payment.
I noticed most of the comments are from 2 years ago. Just wondering if this site is still a good earner ?
