Summer is not nearly over isn't it?
What is the most memorable thing you've done this summer?
Sounds pretty lame but went to Hever castle with son and his family where we toured the house had a picnic and watched the jousting which was good fun. Saw lots more of family and other son too. Seeing them is when I am happiest.
I have been waiting for the sun to come out, that is my most memorable moment. All the garden is set up ready to enjoy but it just hasn’t happened.
Taking my kiddo to the seaside and her dragging us into the sea! We don’t like the water but she had no fear and just wanted to go in deeper. Made some lovely memories.
My daughter getting married! Not the wedding she had planned, but it was a lovely day and great to be able to sit and eat a meal with friends and family.
That must have been lovely after all the misery of Covid. Any wedding is special no matter how modest and I am sure she was happy to have her loved ones there.
My granddaughter has just told me she is getting married in Las Vegas next April.
Lynibis wow! Will you be attending? Will it be very hot? I’ve never been to Vegas.
gerrykelly25 not sure about the weather I guess it may be quite hot but not too hot in april. No one is going. They are having 4 days in New York and 3 in Vegas and having a party when they get back.
Vegas used to be on my wish list to visit but I no longer want to (age) although I would go if I won a competition lol.
Lynibis that’s the best way to do it. Very exciting for them. We wanted to get married in Rome but being Catholic’s, the red tape at the time wasn’t worth it. It would have been a much cheaper option!
For me It has to be m y son getting married back in July, it was a beautiful day and he looked so handsome and my Daughter-in-law and Granddaughter looked beautiful, special memories.
My most memorable thing I've done this summer was waiting for it to actually arrive.
What is yours, AlexandraPuca?
IV just enjoyed socialising again, spending time with my best friend again and seeing more of family.
Nothing yet... But I'm going to france this week to visit my family after nearly 2 years not seeing them. So that'll be an excellent end of the summer
I walked up to my GP surgery a couple of times this month. It might not sound much but its the only time Ive been out of the house apart from a few walks round the block.
Moving house! Felt like it took forever! But we are now much closer to family and friends and have more room
