I don't understand why people have sweetcorn on a roast. I love sweetcorn but it doesn't belong on a roast dinner

Oh I love mushy peas, I even eat them cold straight from the can.

Sunday lunch thou pretty standard roast dinner Meat & whatever veg is usually on offer, kids insist on Yorkshire puddings thou doesn't matter what meat we have, even have Yorkshire with Christmas dinner

My family are the same, we have Yorkshire puds with every roast, i'd think there was something missing if they weren't on the plate. Must admit I never do any sort of peas with our roasts. Each to their own I suppose.

Mushy peas (or any peas) are wrong at any time! But yes, mushy peas are very odd to have with a roast dinner.
