Have Supermarkets Become to Relaxed?
Ask a Question
Do you think they should go back to limiting customers to try and help reduce exposure?
I do think something needs to change as once you get through the doors it seems to be a free for all with people wandering about in all directions touching everything.

Yes, I do think they have relaxed their rules too much . I always try to keep away from others when I'm shopping, but it can be very hard to socially distance when there are loads of people in there, most not making any effort to keep their distance.
Our supermarkets had extra staff who sanitised the trolleys between use during the first lockdown. They have now disappeared and the trollies aren’t being regularly cleaned. They do provide towels and sanitiser but the onus is now on the customer rather than the shop.
Social distancing no longer exists at all in my local Aldi. Whilst I am against lockdowns, I do however feel that certain measures need to remain in place until we have an approved vaccine; social distancing being one of them.
