New - Support Inbox
Latest Deals
The following update is rolling out in September to the Latest Deals website (not app)

New - Support Inbox
To help improve your experience of reports and moderation we are introducing a new Support Inbox.
It is divided into two parts:
- Your content - your deals, vouchers, freebies, competitions, and chats.
- Your reports - when you have reported someone else's content

The support inbox is divided in two parts: Your content, and your reports.
The idea is to improve your experience of reports and moderation queries. To give you a better view of where it is, what happened, and why.
We've completely overhauled the moderation experience:
- Every report is now tracked - you can see that it was submitted > is pending review > completed
- Better communication at every step - notifications along the way
- Appeal any decision - instantly send it back for a second opinion

An example of a moderation notification.

An example of a deal post pending review - you can see the status

An example of a report outcome.
Send for review (appeal)
You will be able to appeal any moderation decision from Support Inbox. This is a much faster and easier process.

An example of updating a post and then sending for review to get it live again.
The moderation decision is then reviewed for a second time and either upheld or changed, with clear communication along the way.
Support Inbox is rolling out in September, first for website users (not app), and is in beta
This is a very big change to a complicated system. Please help us find any technical problems and share them here to fix.
Sorry in advance, any individual moderation queries we won't be able to answer here - please either Contact Us or use the new Support Inbox.
Can I email you via Support Inbox?
For email support, please continue to use our Contact Us page.
We may update Support Inbox for email support in future.
Does this affect points for Reports?
You may still earn points for successful reports. After your report is confirmed successful, you may earn points. If a report is not successful i.e. incorrect, you will not earn points. This is the same as now. The only change is when the points are given. In the old system, you get the points straight away and they are removed if the report is incorrect. In the new system, you get the points when confirmed.
Please note - we won't be able to answer any individual moderation queries here - please either Contact Us or use the new Support Inbox when it rolls out.
We would like your support on technical bugs that affect the new system as a whole. Please shout if anything technical is broken!
Thank you for your support as we continue to try and make Latest Deals better and better. Ultimately our goal with this update is to improve moderation query times, communication, and balance for you. Plus, the new appeal process.
Good idea even better if it gets on the app too as I use my phone I can only do online if I delete the app lol
This looks like it will be a good improvement, I know in the past some people have been frustrated about certain things and felt there wasn't an easy way to contact someone from the site. I think this will make things like that much easier and also clear up why things have been removed etc.
I didnβt know just seen few notifications about my posts then I checked someone report falsely about my recent voucher from Munbyn working itβs not expired hope team will check if same users keep reporting mine should stop them so far 4 been reported im shocked there 7 years old posts still live why no one report them why always me
alanhainsworth Hello, you need to use the contact us form. Is it about rating deals being paused? If so, there is a thread about it here >> https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/chat/rating-paused Thank you
Kelsey would be possible for moderators to share the link to the original post when something is reported as duplicate? At the moment it just says this voucher/competition has been removed as already shared and the link goes to removed post instead of the original one
sunshinemum Hey! Thanks for the feedback. This sounds very sensible and pretty sure thatβs sort of how it used to work. Let me see what I can do!
Is there any way when sharing a competition if it is already up on site it gets flagged right then and there and says this competition has already been shared. I do check but I keep getting comps removed as already up, but I didn't see them. I wonder if its due to a competition containing several prizes and could be listed as beauty and home and garden, for eg. One person puts it under beauty and another home and garden, so it's there twice, but you will only see if you check several categories under competitions. Would be easier if it could be flagged as soon as the link is entered to stop me or anyone else posting it in the first place.
Sherrifffroggy Hey It's on our to-do list to improve duplicate detection for competitions. The system currently relies heavily on matching the same URL for a competition at the time of sharing.
Unfortunately having had a look at your account history I can see that sometimes you've, for example, shared the competition's Facebook post link. Whilst someone else had already shared that competition's Instagram post link. We rely on member reports to pick these up at the moment which is why there's a delay.
A better system would try and match the competition title, description, etc and is something we'd like to add! And better still would be that you could supplement an existing competition with more information. In an ideal world one competition post would include all the social media posts about it (Facebook, Instagram, etc) in one place
Kelsey I do copy and post all the information proved with the competition. I tend to only share competitions from facebook. If it's on instagram as well, I wouldn't know unless stated. I don't share instagram competitions. I just about to share some comps, so fingers crossed I can spot if these are some where in some category already posted.
Also where would a jewellery competition go? I found a necklace comp to share I didn't post it as I didn't know what category. I thought maybe beauty?
Sherrifffroggy I would put it in fashion - like a fashion accessory. For me, personally, beauty is more like make-up and cosmetics. Subjective decision either way and could be both!
Tom Thanks for the tip, Tom. Next time I spot a necklace or some earrings, I'll add it to fashion.
So is anyone else getting their reported suspended as well? Every deal I report as expired is because its no longer that price, it has increased and yet latest deals is saying its still live. Yes the item is available but its not the same price
DanielleMcK1992 Hey I just reviewed a couple of your reports which have been marked as incorrect. May I ask if you're looking at the vouchers / discount codes that are available?
For example, you reported this deal which is listed as Β£16.11 as expired:

However, if you go to Amazon you can see it's available for that price if you use the voucher:

We would therefore consider this deal price to be correct and the report incorrect. Do you feel that's inaccurate, and if so, why? Thanks!
Also some Amazon deals require a discount code to be entered at checkout to see the reduced price.
Hi team just want to tell since this new system came up my vouchers keep getting expired or taken to moderation one thing I want clarify your Ai some times accept half code then I let it go when they says need to see reduction how much savings then I post full nothing misleading in my vouchers I know few or here burning since I start posting vouchers recent I edit will wait for approval I seen here few user only write in title for example 10% off no one report them plz stop that your must know Iβm here just for posting I love hunting vouchers other day your took my voucher when I edit after I received your edit as deal but I canβt see deal on my page must be hiding somewhere I have no other problem I feel ashamed for keep asking help sorry thanks Tom Kelsey your donβt need to reply plz just check that user keep reporting.
Morning, I'm trying to post a deal, taken me ages to do but I keep getting Something went wrong, how can I find out what's wrong? I've tried reposting twice.
elfleur98 Thanks - for private support queries please email us the link you're trying to share here: https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/contact?skipChat=true
Used this for the first time a few days ago, and very poor experience, looks like a standardised Bot response.
I used it yesterday, because it said I needed to add a link to the deal, obviously a link was added and it worked but you deemed it didn't, still waiting for response since yesterday afternoon, it's not the first time this has happened, and it's only happening on JD sports deals
I'm really confused.. several times I've expired a deal or changed the title/pricing. It always says they found another reason or it's been checked and is okay. Today I expired one as the price was 24% cheaper - realised my mistake of not changing the price after the first notification. Then it said the deal is still live as they've confirmed it's the same. The deal has now expired... What am I doing wrong?
What is the point of this support box?? If you are actually viewing the comments in the support box and it's not Ai how can you come to such wrong decisions, if it's Ai then it's needs completely overhauling, talking about breakfast cereal is Not dangerous or illegal
