Yep I done it twice now and got £100+. It is hassle free. Why be loyal to the banks they are not loyal to us 🙂

I have a friend who recommended his son for a £100 each deal. They got their money and the son handed his to his dad as he owed him £100! Good way to pay off a debt lol.

I did it many years ago and got £100 credited into the account within a month. It's worth doing - I saw someone in person to do it, so that way I can look them in the eye to make sure they did it all properly!

Not something I have ever done. I just never thought to do it. We have opened new accounts with good interest rates and used them as our savings account but it is with the bank that has our main account. The only thing we have done involving switching banks is that we remortgaged. We got a better interest rate for a fixed term and reduced the term of our mortgage by 10 years. Won't work for everyone buy did for us.

I have never thought about that 😱 That's a great idea. To be hones make me no difference with which bank I deal with. Does anyone knows what bank offer something like this at the moment?
