Would You Get a Tattoo?

Ask a Question

Would you get a tattoo or do you have one?

I have three tiny love hearts on my foot, so easily covetable but it isn’t very obvious anyway.

Has anyone seen Post Malone‘s facial tattoos?

I think it is going over the top and this is when I don’t like them if they are in bad places.

Here he is! What are your thoughts?

I have 2 tattoos but they can't be seen which I'm now grateful for as I've gotten older. My fave genre of music is rock so everyone has tattoos and I used to love them but nowadays I think what a shame she's ruined herself with all of those or he would be good looking but why has he drawn that on his face. I really don't like face and neck tattoos. I seem to be going off tattoos and I'm pleased mine are tiny and not visable unless I'm naked. I tattoos are more of a person in their 20/30s kind of thing. Once you hit 40 what was cool and edgy when you were 21 often seems silly and regretful.

Yes I would agree it tends to be that age when you get a tattoo. Like you say, some people may regret their decision when they are older. I will always remember as a little girl when my moms friend was crying because she thought her flower tattoo on her shoulder looked silly as she had aged, and she told me to never ever get one! I don’t regret my small ones just yet, but as they are on my foot they are always covered, unless wearing flip flops!

I haven't got any and wouldn't ever have any. Mr Tumblespots was in the Navy but hasn't got any either. We neither of us see the need to embelish our bodies with tattoos.

On others - personally I don't like them to be obvious but what other people do is not down to me. I worry for them though - that they might regret them in the future when the colours fade and their skin sags....

That is good that you haven’t got any! Yes I would agree, I find tattoos on the face not so nice! But yes I can imagine a lot of people regret the decision once their skin is wrinkled and the colour has faded. My dad has his initials in blue Indian ink or something which his brothers put on him when he was younger to practice on him first as he was the youngest, he is over 60 now and you can barely make out the initials it just looks like a blue grey splodge!

I have 3 tattoos of a fairly decent size but only the one on my wrist can be visible. I got my first at 30 and the last one at 45 and I have no issues with older people and tattoos but then I grew up surrounded by people with them. My dad has tattoo sleeves and a full back so to me it's normal.

Facially though I don't know anyone with those and I wouldn't want one. I work for the government and they're very lenient but even so I've only seen face piercings not tattoos at work.

Only if my friend would do them....has some awards in this field, but I would plan what would be on my skin and it would be unique with some abstract parts and deep meanings.

It looks as if he has defaced himself (excuse the pun) and I bet every penny I have that he will regret it when he has grown up, because he is obviously immature to do that to himself. I would imagine that whatever sexual orientation you are you will immediately alienate yourself from half the available partners as not many people would be able to look at that day in and day out. I want to see someone's face not a load of scribble.

If people want the odd tattoo here and there, fair enough, none of my business as I don't have to look at them but in truth I absolutely detest them.

I personally wouldn't want one, I'm too much of a wimp to get one as it would be too painful. Plus there isn't anything I would want to have on my skin for the rest of my life. I don't like ones that are on your face or hands but otherwise it doesn't bother me.

I don't have any and unlikely to get any mainly due to I can't think of anything I like enough to have it on me for the rest of my life. I do however like the look of some tattoos but nothing on the face

Our local news this evening covered a medical tattoo artist who was blocked by Facebook saying her art is too erotic. She actually tattoos nipples on mastectomy reconstructed boobs, it was wonderful.

After my summer beach holiday, I think I am a novelty item to be the only woman without a single tattoo on the sand
