Was he driving with his eyes closed or the headlights off. Although, I'm surprised there aren't posts or a barrier in place to prevent vehicle access.

Oh dear lol. Shows you how people rely on technology too much. You need your own sense as well. Shows you that they wasn’t paying attention.

Regardless if the sat nav sent him that way.

If he was going down a road you’ve not been down you would make sure you don’t drive into water. You can’t blame the sat nav

TerenceMealing sadly this doesn’t surprise me. Had to get a taxi from Gatwick to Heathrow airport a couple of years ago and the taxi driver asked *me* for the address. I had booked this taxi at least one week ahead of time.

When I said I didn’t know the exact address, he then asked various other taxi drivers and bus drivers he passed on the way to Heathrow airport. If they don’t have the details crunched into a satnav, they still refuse to read road signs and fail to use common sense.
