Things / Sites I love to hate

Other

Just to lighten the mood a bit...

I am sure I am not the only one on here who has a regular list of web sites I check pretty much every day, especially the daily prize draws that many sites run. Some of them offering big prizes that are just too good to miss, and others which are fun and give cheap but fun prizes and are easy to enter.

I have quite a few sites I use every day which really annoy me, or have 'features' or quirks that are poorly designed or unnecessary or just over complicated, but the prizes on offer mean I just grin and bear it and plod through them.

Anyone care to share sites / feature on sites which really annoy them?

I can start the ball rolling - The Good to Know site which offers daily entry to certain prizes but makes you wait and watch a 30 second video advert every time. I know adverts pay for the prizes but at least try to vary the video. By the time i have finished I want to kill the meercats, not compare them!

I agree with you about the adverts not being particularly varied when you have to watch them in order to progress. It annoys me too. But yes, it does pay for the prizes so I watch them anyway. And recite the words to the adverts whilst watching. 🤣

Another feature I dislike, actually on Facebook, is where it repeatedly alters how I wish to see my timeline to what they recommend I see. I'd rather see things chronologically. So I keep selecting that setting and hoping one day it'll stay where I put it. 😆

Love to shop at Amazon and their pre-order service is fantastic but whenever I use a voucher and then leave spare voucher credit aside, if an order gets processed with voucher credit applied then any other left will also be used upon that order.

I mean, it's not exactly that big of a deal but there's a reason I didn't use the whole credit on one single order. Now I know so will avoid that from happening again.
