Well What You All Think of the Idiots at the Beaches Today

Ask a Question

Well what can I say but absolutely brain dead these people are. Police called to break up fights thousands take to beaches today with no social distancing. Makes me so mad i do hope they shut the beaches like they saying will do.

anyone here went to the beach today or stayed home. Image Image

Countries in Europe that have eased lockdown measures have seen a rise in COVID-19 cases. When you see pictures like this, hear about illegal parties, etc it's no wonder. People are understandably bored and frustrated. The longer this situation continues more and more people will choose to ignore safety measures. We are likely to see many more pictures like this.

Absolute cretins, all of them. And that includes a couple in my family who have ignored the rules and been going to the beach in fine weather from the start, even though one of them has been told to shield because of a bad respiratory disease.

The only thing that will wake these people up is when one of their close family or friends gets really ill or dies of Covid.

But then again, the government aren't helping by relaxing rules and giving out mixed messages.

My advice? Get your toilet roll and handwash in NOW, because the second wave will hit quite soon and it might well be a lot worse than the first time around.

TheChimp Ann1984 Mixed messages all round. Go out but stay in. Go to work but work from home. Bo Jo knows its going to come back, NHS have, this week, extended my daughters secondment to covid testing to MARCH, she was due to finish with testing pods in Sept - says a lot.

lilyflower I think Boris wonts to kill half the population the way he has acted though this. In Wales we pretty much still in lockdown but it haven't stopped people and teenagers filling up beaches.

It would save paying out benefits money or retraining programmes for when AI takes over the tasks of the low-paying, low skilled jobs. The production of GDP into the economy versus spending out.

I have always said that there will be a second wave and idiots such as these packed in at the beach will, no doubt, be the cause. Batten down the hatches everyone!

Do you think we should call it the Arnievirus? (I'll be back!) Image

If that is their attitude then let the beach be their new home for the next month. Drop shipping containers and other stuff onto the beach.

To be honest I wanted to go to the beach on Thursday and was about to hire the car and take daughter for a day out as stuck in a flat for three months just felt like we need it, was searching for more village with a beach not to be too busy but looked like you need to book a parking space in advance and was all booked up till next month lol, we ended up staying home and was so glad as was crazy on the beaches 🙈we don’t even go to the shops as still feeling anxious and if we did go I would just stress too much anyway .

Ann1984 yes true , I didn’t brace myself to go into shops just my partner some times goes if we don’t get all delivered we need, I would be as confused as you, that’s why I am scared even to go there 🙈I think Poland is back to normal now , the hotels and all are open now , it’s just the matter of planes operating from UK , you don’t need to quarantine for two weeks neither when arriving In Poland .But when coming back to UK yes , but guessing if working from home it’s ok just to self isolate at home and still working .

loveglitches If you and your daughter get travel sick buy some wrist bands similar to these, I couldn't believe how quickly they stopped my daughter being sick, kept the bucket handy but not needed. She still uses hers if out in bus/plane/boat or passenger in a car. https://www.chemist-4-u.com/sea-band-one-size?gclid=Cj0KCQjw3Nv3BRC8ARIsAPh8hgIoycCxqjm4pYfxDpjVXJLYaKpWFaISI6sg1tChq4pLC7sFW8kROFEaAuHcEALw_wcB

loveglitches my sister told me about them AFTER we had spent a holiday touring Scotland with one child wanting to eat and the other trying to get rid of it. Daughter couldn't even do a short journey, then these - whoopie we could go any where. Always keep a 'spare pair' in glove box and handbag as sure as anything she'll loose one when you are out. 🙂 The cheap ones work just as well as the more expensive ones 🙂

loveglitches You need one on each wrist, two finger from hand, roughly about watch position as they work on pressure spot (each one has a button like magnet in the band that goes on inside of wrist) 🙂

This also extends to Liverpool FC club fans congregating last night to celebrate their league win. Breaking restrictions on gatherings and treating their own city like a rubbish dump - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-53203765

My OHs grandfather has lost his daughter & brother during lockdown, both passed away not due to covid19. He could not attend either funeral because he was caring for his wife who has dementia. She has taken the loss of her daughter very badly & has been in hospital 2 weeks now, gravely I'll, fighting an infection & refusing to eat & drink. So imagine the pain of a man who is already grieving the recent & raw losses of his brother & daughter, has been unable to see them or say a proper goodbye to either & now cannot visit his wife in hospital & fears greatly he will not ever see her again. What do I think of these people? I hate them with a burning passion right now. It infuriates me. Covid-19 is effecting many people indirectly as it has directly. Clearly not any of these idiots tho. Sorry but iv witnessed people I love hurting alot recently & I find it all very unfair. I'm very angry at people today.

Glitterandgold I feel for you ☹️

My parents are both in their mid 70s and they refuse to listen to the guidelines.

Both me and my sister have read them the riot act, but we might as well be talking to a couple of chimps.

TheChimp I can guess how frustrating that must be. Theres alot of people sho just dont WANT to get it. Just wait till the pubs open here next weekend, The beach scenes will be nothing in comparison.....yet a old man is not allowed to see his extremely poorly wife. Go figure!

Dont understand how stupid some people can be. I know i can be simple at times but not daft enough to go congregate at beach with loads of others with germs all over the place.
