Another ridiculous , nonsensical and dangerous decision taken by the government and police
A shocking number of sex offenders have been taken off the register since 2019 , why ???
Once a serious offender has been convicted they should stay on the list for life
Why are the police allowing this to happen ?
They were required to keep the authorities informed of any change of address etc , now they don't need to and can live where they want, even close to their victims
Can you believe the system changed in 2011 after two sex offenders claimed it was unfair to be kept on the register indefinitely as it infringed on their human rights
Their human rights, what about the right of the victims ??
The UK is continuing to be a cesspit of criminals , sex offenders and any and all the dregs of society
Now they are being allowed to become invisible to the public

This is absolutely shocking but no suprise T, these animals are protected way too much and the prison sentences are a joke, we need the same system the U.S has but it will never happen

martinlufc5637 When i say i think the world has gone mad M this type of thing proves it , what goes on in the minds of the authorities to approve this type of thing is beyond me , unless they are sympathisers , in which case it is very frightening
telmel it's got to be sympathy, why else would they be taken off a register and given light sentences, I was reading something a few days ago, guy had thousands of images on his PC, he only got a suspended sentence and a small fine, madness
Why am I not surprised at reading this? Some of the absolute sickest people in the world, do it once they’ll do it again 
Sounds really weird that this has happened but I do remember teenagers who had sex before 16 being on the sex offenders register even though both were willing parties but not sure what else could be safely removed over time when it comes to this. I just think there may be some exceptions where it makes sense to remove people from it. However my more cynical side feels like its the huge savings of not having to monitor people are at work here. Ultimately punishment needs to be more severe so people are frightened of committing offences. The current system is extreme levels of crime because people don't fear the punishment and the state running out of cash so punishments are actually getting much weaker.

telmel Everything is being cut back, its the state of the UK finances. Police, NHS and loads of other services are struggling to operate fully to meet demand. We are just becoming a much poorer country.
That is truly shocking, i understand about human rights but surely these people are a proven threat to other people and should be treated as such.
Can't say I'm surprised with this country it's shocking in a America they have a whole estate where they all go and are on tag for years
The only people who should be allowed to be removed from the register are those who get caught short after a night on the town who end up making the wrong choice of urinating in the streets, they get punished by being fined and normally learn their lessons and don't do it again, but rapist and paedophiles should never be removed because they'll always be a danger to society.
