Tim Curry Has Passed Away

Just coming on hear to say. Not our Tim. I love him. He is amazing. Going to introduce my teen to rocky horror in honour of Tim

I loved Tim Curry's performances, slightly tongue in cheek and typically a lot of fun. He didn't take himself too seriously and sometimes that made a mediocre show more appealing to me. I think I'm one of the few people that enjoyed 'Earth 2'. I loved the game Wing Commander 3 and he did a lot of the kilrathi voices I believe. Even the poorly reviewed Congo I enjoyed. Sadly his later work was mainly voice only due to his stroke. What he is famous for the Rock Horror Show is sadly not something I enjoyed though.

I must admit I had no idea who tim curry was when I heard the name & him passing, I had to Google it to see who he was

Another big character that we have lost. His performance in the Rocky Horror Show is what I remember. I'm really feeling old now. People who I have grown up with are dying.

What an awful coincidence that Dolly Parton and Tim Curry were both 80 and passed away on the same day. He has had such a terrible time since his stroke in 2012. I didn't realise how many iconic films he was in (he was even in Annie! How did I not realise that until now?) I will always remember him in Home alone 2.

He was brilliant in The Rocky Horror Picture Show in my opinion.

I saw a stage production some years ago and although it was good (and great fun seeing all of the audience dressed up), I kept comparing the lead role to Tim Curry.
