What Time Do You Have Your Evening Meal?

Ask a Question

As a couple we don't eat until 8pm in the evening, when I mentioned this in passing to someone, they said it was too late for them.

It depends, normally between 7:30 and 8 pm. I like eating early as we go to bed quite early.

When’s your breakfast and lunch? I am norm between 6-7

For evening meal. But sometimes earlier. I get hangry and my stomach tells me often before I realise the time.

I could eat earlier, but my husband, who is retired does all the cooking. Before Coivid I used to get in later about 7 from work, but he is on the same schedule 😆😆😆 lynneh

Depends what shift the other half Is working that week. We tend to sort the kids out early on and then have ours just the 2 of us later on. This week he’s on 2-10pm so dinner will be ready for him at 10.20 coming through the door which most people think we are crazy for but it’s whatever suits you I guess!

Same as you, normally about 8pm. I don't think that's late, but I suppose it depends on what time you have your other meals, what hours you keep, etc.

All depends on my wife.

I'll ask her when she wants food, and then I'll cook for her.

The biggest pain in the arse is getting her to decide what she wants the next day so that I can get stuff out of the freezer if I need to.

In our house it varies...Any time between 7.30pm to 10.30pm. Being only 2 adults we do not have to have a set routine as is recommended for those with children. It works for us so I guess each to his own.

When I was growing up, my military father liked precision and routine.. dinner was 7pm on the dot and not a minute later.. I can’t seem to shake that, for my entire adult life I have aimed to always have dinner ready at 7pm, it’s not always as precise as my mother but mainly it is

In our house it is between half 5 and 6. It depends on what is being made for dinner and how long it takes, but it's always by 6pm due to our sons bedtime. We have dinner as a family and we all eat the same meal.

I don't have a set time, it depends on what I'm doing or how hungry I feel on the day. Consequently, anytime, from 4pm to 11.30pm. Tonight it'll probably be around 9.30pm 🥦

We have ours around 5-6pm. When the kids are at school I'll pick them up and come straight home and start cooking. I dont like to eat later, my mum has hers around 8-9pm which i think is late but whatever suits i suppose.

I usually eat mine around 3am because I work odd hours. However for everyone else in my house I usually get it ready for somewhere between 5-7pm.
