How Much Time is Reasonable to Invest in Applying for Freebies

Feedback

i find this quite time consuming and often the freebie is really tiny when it arrives and then you get loads of junk mail and spam as a result. what do people think

I think it's a matter of practice. I started with tiny samples and now days I often get the offers with full sized products from testing panels etc. It's very important to get a new email for this activity as you will get a lot of junk. I also don't provide real phone number unless it's a testing panel. I personally love getting my freebies, it's kind of my hobby now but is it worth my time? Probably not but I use my spare time during travel, while watching television etc. so I'm not bothered that I wasted my time.

For what you get and the time invested I would say no time at all is reasonable. Unless you are poverty stricken or do it as a hobby to fill time you can afford to waste, which most people can't. When I first signed to LD I sent off for a whole load thinking how great it would be, I got just 2 small samples and decided not to bother again. I concentrate on comps and have done a lot better.

Make a new email address just for freebies so you don't get spam in your personal email. If you want full size freebies then you need to have time free to write reviews and post online. The insiders is the best product testing I've found so far but it can be time consuming, but the products are always full sized. I got these this week 😍

I tend to focus on food & drink freebies that you can get in store rather than through the post. Many of these are posted on general eating out related websites, so you don't always have to sign up to other websites.
