Have You Seen Tinned Food Instock?
Ask a Question
Hi guys I have just been to my local Asda and Tesco and there was no pasta and tinned food just wondering is there any stock near you
Get yourself to Waitrose where you will find everything in stock and quality is so much better
Yeah but prices are twice or 3 times Asda prices this is a money saving site lol
Have you seen those Charlie Bingham tiny little curries £8.99 - really?
I have heart palpitations every time i go into Waitrose
Thank goodness they have a FREE coffee to calm me down!
Caz2 Really haha not for me i just go in with a full old waitrose bag (filled of course next door at Home Bargains) and then get my free coffee!
Am i bad?
Occasionally i will get something on the yellow ticket reductions but i always get a free coffee either way!
Sometimes even two if im really thirsty - cappuchino followed by a latte!!
Am I really really bad!
garygemmell in our 'local' one(15 mins away) they make you show them your receipt as proof before they let you get a coffee. Now theyre the real tightarses
Caz2 Nightmare but then i would have a workaround for that - get my last waitrose receipt - scan it photoshop it alter date and time then print it out - sorted!
Its what i used to do with parking tickets when i was going to Town - never caught me once.
I am the MASTER FIDDLE DIDDLER!
Stick with me young Padawan and I will lead you to the DARK SIDE!
haha
Caz2 indeed lol x PS sorry this comment was meant be for further up chat when u said dearer haha x
That does not surprise me. The closest Asda to me contains people I wouldn't go within 5 metres of regardless of any virus going round.
Is you posh then?
Funny that my girlfriend says exactly the same thing - much better class of person in M&S apparently.
garygemmell Not particularly. It just feels like the human race is taking longer to evolve when I have shopped in there.
Dennab Hmm you must have the local ferals at yours in mine its just rude and greedy people!
Loislane Early for me its only 3am got a new Sigourney Weaver horror movie to watch!
See ya on the AP!
yes, there are some, but not much - some stores have empty shelves, but they have stuff in the back. My Iceland is still fully stocked, so I can always rely on them for now
I went into lidl yesterday only wanted some chicken and peppers for tea and the place looked like it had been ransacked! There wasn't much of anything at all!
My wife went shopping yesterday - asda, farmfoods and aldi. They had fresh food and things with a week to 2 shelf life but all the long lasting stuff was pretty much bare or empty. No rice, no pasta, no long life milk, only farmfoods had toilet roll, hardly any nappies, kids medicine and milk formula.
Was in Tesco today, there was no toilet roll or pasta but they had plenty of everything else.
I went in my local Tesco earlier and it was looking rather bare. Some people are going a bit crazy.
Went into our local Asda earlier and loads of items OOS, had to go across to Tesco after where we found almost everything on the shelves , with the exception of some Anti Bac sprays, hand sanitiser and hand washes.
Had my tesco delivery everything on there had except a pie no lose didn‘t need cleaning supplies have enough for now. But I did have a early delivery maybe later ones won’t be so lucky
Hardly anything in our lidl today, some of the 'premium' soups left but literally no other tinned foods. It's actually ridiculous and I find it so selfish.
My daughter said sainsburys got loads of everything in.Asda hardly anything left for home delivery.
As I've said before, the average Asda shopper I've seen when in there usually looks like they are the product of a biological experiment.
I'm glad that I've found the old tins from my old house. When I moved to parents for a while, I boxed cleaning stuff, etc up including food such as pasatta, pasta, tins. I thought my mum was using these but she was not, so as well as the food shops I've done since moving, I now have tins, cleaning products and dried goods from my old house. Very pleased to see those.
Popped to asda again this morning for some fresh food but as I was there wondered into the other aisles (just to be nosey) the pasta and sauce aisle has been ransacked again and no tinned vegetables. Its so sad that this is happening but I wish people would think of others.
