Tips to Help with a Blocked Nose

I have found the only thing that really helps me is the Sinex nasal spray, but that isn’t home remedy obviously lol. My mom used to put essential oils in a bowl of hot water with a towel over your head to keep the heat in and breathe in the steamy oils

Sounds like sinus is your main problem. I have a method that works but hard to explain - you pinch your eyebrow, near to the nose, with thumb under and index finger above the brow and hold with a good amount of pressure for 10 second sessions. (both brows at the same time) Failing that take a look at this site as it may help you. Hope you get relief soon.

If the pain is really bad along cheek bone you may have a sinus infection and might need antibiotics.

I suffer with a clogged up nose all the time and nothing ever really helps.

I use the nasal strips (got for snoring) but we find them more effective when we have cold, especially at night as they do open the airways. There's always Vick or Snuffle Babe rubbed under the nose, the latter is not as harsh. Drink wise, warm lemon with honey and a touch of ginger.
