Toasters Too Small - Do You Have Problems With Your Toaster?
Ask a Question
Do you have problems using your toaster? Lots of specialist breads will not fit in my toaster so I have to grill it instead. Then I have the other problem of losing smaller items, managed to solve that problem with toaster cages.
Hi, I have the same problem as Warburtons bread doesn't fit in my toaster. Have to stand over my toaster and turn the bread so it toasts evenly.
Sugarbabe I have the same problem too I have to put the bread length ways and that some times works but it depends how tall the bread is, one of the manufacturers brought a toaster out that was supposed to fit the warburtons bread and I bought it but it did not do the job as most of the slices did not fit.
I commented on this a couple of years ago when I bought a new toaster. It wasn't cheap but as you say the slots were not deep enough even for normal white bread. I tried to return it but they adamantly refused to take it and gave me an excuse regarding 'eu rules'.
I have yet another which is still not good for oval shaped bread and I have to stop and turn upside down halfway through toasting which means the middle is too well done, burnt if I am not careful!
Your so right even with a normal slice of bread, I have to put it in and turn to half way through. Got to do that right now….
We have a long slice toaster great for thick or thin slices but not even toasting. I have to pop the bread out and turn it round, yes I am fussy.
We mainly just use the grill now rather than the toaster for this reason. Too many things we buy don't fit in the toaster properly, either too big, too small or odd shape so they don't toast evenly in the toaster.
