Omg I very nearly did band I was nearly crying cursing selfish people those shopping days were horrific I have never seen anything like it disgusting behaviour I could never be like that I do blame the media though if it was nt publicised that other countries were doing it I don't think it would have happened media created a trend

No but we had to resort to buying online and just about got it at a reasonable price. I actually felt quite embarrassed when it arrived because we ended up having to buy a big pack and didn't need that many.

no, as we were still able to buy when we were running low, but had to pay a little more than usual for brands we had never even heard of

No , the supermarkets had stock back in within a few days , there never was a shortage just a distribution bottleneck . I can't fail to be amused by those who cleared the supermarket shelves to resell on Ebay etc at extortionate mark ups .

Those low lifes denied the elderly and vulnerable the chance to get their one or two rolls on their weekly pension shop .

Why am I amused ? Because those scum will have maxed out their credit cards on something they can't sell and will be staring at a stash of bog rolls , enough to wipe their bums for decades, Just deserts I reckon .

Nope. Bought 3 huge packs back in December from farmfoods on offer and still going through them now.

I think we went down to one roll 🙂 it went crazy for a few weeks, never imagined people would steep as low as fighting over toilet roll 😞

Same for sanitizer,(had one small bottle for months),we use regular soaps but just concerning people stocking up without care for others...then flogging it

No, Never had much trouble getting any either. Once it diminished off the supermarket shelves local shops still had a good supply.

No. It was silly that there was so much madness around it as there’s so many alternatives

No. This craze was fueled by the media and quite unnecessarily.

People will literally follow everything they say. 🐑

No, I’m glad I always stock up on essentials loo rolls, washing powder, flash, dishwasher tablets etc. Those sort of things don’t go off so keep them in utility room and garage.

No, I just buy it in bulk with Amazon Prime every couple of months whenever there's a good deal. Who wants to cart loo paper around? Nice easy thing to save money on.

No we were lucky my partner works in Lidl so was able to bring some home when we were running low. We didn’t buy huge amounts at any one time we just bought it as and when we were down to one roll left.
