I just saw the offer. I’m still not sure whether I want to try them. I love the original so much!

I've not seen these before but I would try them. I love Red Leicester cheese, and I like savoury things like this.

angelik .....I had one toasted with a little spread of margarine today. It had more of a sun dried tomato flavour I couldn't taste the cheese much....perhaps it was overly toasted!. 🀭

Next time I will try it with a cheese salad πŸ˜‹

SAdeals I'd like to try these, but I'll be disappointed if they're not very cheesy, that was the thing that appealed to me the most!

angelik that's a shame although I do understand. I must admit its the cheese part that mostly appealed to me too.

neo1 I was of the same same mindset as you but the temptation got the better of me! I have more of a sweet tooth so given the choice, I'd opt for the classic variety πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜Š

SAdeals aw that’s a pity. Asda is across the border for me and not allowed to cross πŸ™ˆ. It’s Tesco aldi or Morrison’s for me

Sounds like a pretty good flavour combination to me. Cheese and fruit cake compliment each other so would love to try

dawarwick just so you know there wasn't any fruit in these.....I guess that they are just the same shape with a cross which is why they are called hot cross Buns!

I've only ever tried normal hot cross buns - never any flavours. I might try them, not sure.

I am not sure to be honest. When I read the post I did not feel like I wanted to look for it on my next shop. Again I suppose if they just read tomato & cheese hot cross buns it does not sound to exciting.

Today we had some Heston Blumental mocha hot cross buns. At Β£1.79 for two they were quite large and chocolateply but much prefer the original fruity buns.
