My advice is to give up!!!
As a French mother tongue but speaking (or learning to speak) English for 15 years ish, this is brilliant. I'm googling the pronunciation on a few words i wasn't too sure about. I've always loved learning the English language, word by word in the first year, then slang and phrases. Don't even get me started on understanding everyone's accents! Thanks Lynibis for making me learn some more

gaelle0501 so glad people seemed to enjoy it. I did think it might intrigue those for whom English is not their first language. But of course French was widely spoken in England by the nobility once William of Normandy conquered us, and so much of our language is derived from the French or a mixture of both.
gaelle0501 he was fascinated! He is learning to talk, but I doubt he will be able to master these just yet! Dad, tea, did and cheese are currently in his vocabulary.
