Top Tips for Black Friday?
Money Saving
Hello you lovely lot, I'm a bit new at this whole bargain hunting malarky and I'm hoping to pick your brains for a bit of advice. I need to buy a new fridge/ freezer and I'm thinking Black Friday at the end of November would probably be the best time to get a hell of a great bargain, right or wrong? I'd be ordering online and I've heard it can get crazy trying to order as stock goes so fast on the best finds, is this all true? Either way if anyone has any nuggets of gold to share on the matter , I'd very much appreciate any of your top tips, cheers... x
Hey! Make sure you:
- Get the Black Friday app (free) - it has all the best Black Friday deals and you can search for what you want.
- Use Latest Deals Price Comparison. Go to our homepage and search “fridge freezer”. We compare thousands of prices so you know you’re getting the best. Alternatively, did you know we have a specific fridge freezer page?
- Black Friday deals start appearing at the beginning of November, so keep an eye out early.
- Consider an ebay outlet store such as AO. Cheaper than elsewhere, plus ebay will probably do a 20% off discount code that will help.
Thanks Tom, you've given me lots of great advice to follow there. Can't believe I didn't know you have a Fridge/Freezer page!!!, still finding my feet on site, but really loving every minute of it. I'll head over there now. Thanks for taking the time to help my novice self, it's very much appreciated indeed, have a great day... x
Thanks for sharing this tom i didnt even know black friday had an app thanks so much for sharing this
ACES74 Thanks Generally speaking, searching Latest Deals for what you're looking for will help you. For anyone else reading this and wondering what other specific pages we have, you can see a full A - Z here.
Look at prices in advance! See how much they all are to see how much you actually save on Black Friday, some companies will have an item on sale all year round but claim it’s a “Black Friday deal” or they bump the prices up so they can drop them for black friday but you’re actually paying how much they were in the first place... I’ve never really got any decent deals on Black Friday
Ah, so they can get all devious with it can they! I'll defo try not to get taken for a ride on that train. Thanks for your helpful advice sarahgreen15, it's very much appreciated. x
