Totally Missed an Appointment

Have you ever missed an appointment and how bad did you feel. I feel I have really let down someone and I can’t change it.
What was the appointment and how well do you know them? What's your excuse? Can you apologise and explain? Make it up to them?
I feel really bad if I haven’t let someone know in time or after a time you should have met or something. If you let them know in time then it obviously isn’t quite as bad but even in that situation I still feel bad!
No I've never missed an appointment, but I’ve had instances where others have ‘let me down’. I’m miffed at the time, but I get over it. Don’t feel bad - most people will understand, even if it takes time
One of my pet hates, I really detest it but appreciate sometimes things happen that you cannot control.
