Personally I would not buy either for a 2 year old. I have read too many articles about children being injured on both and at least two that have died in bouncy castle accidents.

Probably a trampoline, I suppose it depends on where you're going to put it and how big you're looking at, safety considerations too

KazLou I would say No to both, unless it's a toddler trampoline with a bar they hold on to. ROSPA site https://www.rospa.com/Leisure-Safety/Advice/Trampoline advises children under 6 should not be on a trampoline. If you've ever had a child with a neck injury you'll understand why.

I personally wouldn't buy either for a child that young. My son will be 2 in November and I would not be impressed if someone got him one as a present either.

If you want a trampoline then make sure that it is a toddler one that has a bar for them to hold onto, otherwise it is too dangerous in my opinion.
