Trivial Pursuit

Ask a Question

One good thing that's come out of lockdown is that as a family we've started to have regular Sunday afternoon board game sessions

My parents used to play Trivial Pursuit with their friends in the 1980s/1990s and I can remember buying the boxes of extra questions as Xmas gifts etc. I've been trying to get more questions for our game but can't find them anywhere. Have they stopped doing them does anyone know?

Also ... any recommendations for good board games for a family of 2 adults and 2 older teens? We usually like to play 2-3 hours. We already Have Trivial Pursuit, Ticket to Ride, Monopoly, Scrabble. Thank you.

My family enjoys playing Boggle. You’re meant to play for a few minutes per board, but we change the rules a little and make it so that you can only find 6+ letter words and have a little longer to find the words, or you can only find words from specific categories (eg food and drink or names, etc). It keeps it interesting for longer. You could even take it in turns to pick the category of words you look for.
