Uber Eats Grocery
Ask a Question
Has anyone bought from uber eats grocery before. On my uber eats there's a half price asda offer... prices are hiked up but still work out good price after offer comes off.
Just wondering who delivers it. Uber staff or asda staff
I think its uber staff, they collect it from asda for you. I only use uber if i have a 50% off or a good offer. I find grocery hike their prices right up which is annoying!
PinkElephant26 they have to put at least 25% extra on top as this is what they charge for the companies to advertise on their platforms. But as we’ve all go lazy and don’t phone the takeaways directly then this is how these apps have become successful. I only use it when there is an offer. Otherwise I will phone a takeaway direct. The only other good use for them is if you’re in a different location and you don’t know what take always are about.
It should tell you who’s delivering it. It will say delivered by Uber driver and you can follow them on your phone. If it’s Asda then it will not show a delivery being tracked.
I’m pretty sure it’s Uber delivery driver.
Asda will be soon offering 1 hour slots if you’ve not seen this….
This hasn’t got to do with Uber eats.
Just thought you may like to know. That’s if you can afford £8.50 for the privilege.
For groceries on the go, the app Gorillas seems much better for it. I never ordered from them as I don't have an account (don't want to make an account for every service out there).
I'd rather spend £40 via Saintsbury's Online and get a whole lot more at sensible prices.
I've tried Iceland Online and I'd give them 3/5 so won't use them again. Maybe Asda next time.
Edit: Yesterday I signed up for Uber One (1m trial), Uber Eats premium service and meals from £15 have free shipping. Taco Bell meal cost me £15.75 (fee) and I liked it, and was good for that price, but won't order again. Not my type.
