This is the first i have heard of this 😣 the snow and freezing weather we have just had recently was enough for me, there will be road blocks everywhere 😬

Not seen this but if there is just 1mm of snow in London then the whole country will grind to a halt as usual

I doubt we’ll get it down here, but either way, the cold weather may keep people indoors...

Have you been reading The Daily Express again, SAdeals?

There's always some adverse weather story in that rag, they just make stuff up as they go along 🙄

Weren't we supposed to have another "Beast from the East" last week , according to one poster ?

A bit nippy (it is January ! ) but hardly a "weather event " .

What nonsense, they can only accurately predict weather a few days in advance. All they got right so far is the freezing temperatures as ive seen nothing about this current storm that we supposedly have

I honestly can’t wait for this. It’s been a very long time since we’ve had weather like this. It’ll be interesting to see how people react.

Doubt it will happen. I'm in Wales and my region had a weather warning for snow last week but got nothing.

Well, U.K.'s has always been known for having crap weather, but snow? That's actually nice, except if you drive or rely on public transport on the road.

Speaking of snow...

It's usually the Daily Mail that publishes this kind of weather disaster , and usually wrong too Image

I live in Scotland. It was forecast that the area I live in would have 20cm of snow overnight. Woke up this morning and there was only a light dusting.

MrsCraig yeah same. Except it just rained all night and most of today. My 3year old wants it to snow. So he can build a big daddy snowman. I think our salty sea air holds a lot of it back.

tracisinclair01 we wanted to make a big daddy snowman too! We live up a hill so normally get hit when it's really heavy but not today. Sea air definitely stops it from being as bad

I love this country . I used to live in Calgary and my children were told that school will only close if the temprature was below minus 20 for 7 straight days.

With snow in this country it creates this hysteria of people running round like headsless chickens. If we do get any form of the white stuff then it will be good fun for lockdown Britain .

stuartsmith544 Yeah, Calgary is a beautiful place. The Canadians just knuckle down and get on with daily life, well my relatives do 🙂
