The Ultimate Bus Journey - London to Delhi across 18 Countries in 70 Days
In the News
Once COVID's over would you ever consider going on this experience of a lifetime?
Only heard about this recently from a family member & then was suddenly in news. I was gobsmacked as never knew this was possible.
First ever 'hop on, hop off' service between India and England, the bus accommodates 20 passengers
Passengers can pay the full price for the entire journey or select from four legs (South East Asia, China, Central Asia, Europe), and they can choose to start in Delhi or London
The cost includes all hotels, all visas, an English-speaking guide throughout, local cuisine, as well as a fully stocked snack and drinks bar on-board the coach which is fitted with Business Class seats, including TVs
I wouldn't take a bus to my local Home Bargains, which is about half a mile down the road.
I quite like the thought of a drinks bar though.
You’re funny TheChimp. What’s wrong with taking a bus down the road, or is it due to COVID?
It’s very interesting & pretty amazing, imagine something more people might consider once COVID’s over, as only live once. You’re braver than me Moonstone22
ivenailedit One thing Covid has made me realise is that I want to experience more things in life and travel more
Moonstone22 that’s what I believe will happen after COVID, people will just go for it & why not
I enjoy travelling, but I wouldn't want to spend that much time on a bus over 10 weeks. Plus, there will likely be at least one person on the tour you don't get along with, which would really test your patience
It is very long ACR & I imagine uncomfortable at times. You thought exactly as I did, what if do not get on with others & stuck together that long, not good
No for me, not keen on buses and that's waaay too long. Plus India isn't on my list of countries to go to
Sounds interesting but not for me last time I tried to get bus was at wrong stop for half hour the driver wouldn't tell me when I asked.
With in town quicker to walk usually
Imnotcheap sounds as though this trip is definitely not for you. Shame when you come across bus drivers like that, most are good
If i was young, fit and well enough id love to do something like that but those days are long gone. I did travel in India. 10 hours on a bus with just 2 stops and a over night train from Delhi to Bombay both an experience to behold
neo1 good on you what a fabulous experience especially in the past. Something unique you will never forget
My experience of travelling to London on a couple of occasions via a coach (Almost 7hrs each way) has taught me I do not enjoy coach trips. So I'd give this a miss. Not my idea of fun
Yes Tom, that was what I was told by someone & I just wouldn’t believe them, until I read about it on Twitter. Then lo & behold this new trip was in the news. Look at how cheap it was!
It sounds amazing!! Not sure it’s something my kids would be up for though ... maybe something to look forward too when my babies have flown the nest
