Unable to Share a Deal

Help

I was just attempting to share a deal. I pasted the item link but it wouldn’t allow me to. I then got the main link of the website and tried posting that instead. It still doesn’t work. Any idea why?

I had the same problem when I tried to add a Deal. I was finally able to share, but it took many attempts to upload and the same again to post.

Morning ayy123 - sorry this should now be sorted

We always check that the URL works/loads so people can't accidentally share the wrong URL. However, for a bunch of reasons, some websites don't play nice with us trying to check if it's a valid URL and we have to tweak things a bit to get it working

Hi Kelsey Yes it began working, but by then the deal had ended so I couldn’t share it.

I just tried posting a different deal. It’s posted but without a picture. I just tried adding a picture and this comes up:

Any idea why? Thank you.

ayy123 Morning Sorry about that I broke something late last night with an update to the website. Hopefully it's now sorted

This used to happen with retailers I'd share in the past, don't know why it's a thing. Would be better to not have that 'lock' so this wouldn't occur.

I had a similar problem yesterday when I tried to post 2 Deals. It accepted the URLs, but when I pressed Share it appeared nothing was happening, as I was kept on the Share page. Or at least that is what it looked like. Unfortunately, despite being kept on the Share page the Deals were still being posted. Consequently, both Deals were posted multiple times and I got locked out for the rest of the day.

Hi Kelsey I’m now getting this error message after every action I take.
