How Do You Use An Iron Cleaner?

I bought an iron cleaner off Ebay problem is instructions are foreign can anyone help it looks like s glue stick I got it after a topic on here
Found this review for Faultless hot iron cleaner on Amazon:
Turned the iron bottom facing up, heating on cotton mode, away from me. Squeezed the product on to the hot surface and rubbed it with some pressure, with the help of a cotton cloth. At this attempt, 90%-95% of the stubborn surface of rubbish came off. Continued squeezing out more product on the hot surface and rubbed it off with some more pressure, this time with an object that was tough enough to break loose all the stubborn residue and be subtle and soft enough not to scratch or scrape at the metallic surface. My alibi was the soft, flat end of a bamboo chopstick that was lying around in my kitchen. Did a genius job. To make sure no residue had entered the steam vents, I turned it away and kept pressing out steam from the vents. All clean and my iron is once more fully functional. Hurrah!

Imnotcheap I'd tend to rely on the suppliers information (below) than the review of someone who doesn't appear to know the meaning of the word ALIBI:

"Alibi" actually means: a claim or piece of evidence that one was elsewhere when an act, typically a criminal one, is alleged to have taken place.
I'm still trying to work out what that reviewer thought ALIBI meant. Can anyone help?
Baking soda. 
Mix one part water to two parts baking soda and you will get a nice paste. Spread it all over the iron place, leave it for 10 mins and then wipe with a damp cloth.
