I have totally lost faith with the welsh people.
yes we not able to buy certain things for 17 days, this is to control the virus that has killed thousand. If your kettle breaks boil a saucer but going on pictures before lockdown everyone seemed to be in the pubs. If your child soils the quilt you as a parent has a duty to give up yours to keep your child warm.
This is not for people to get there five minutes of internet fame.
People are still not fussed here despite lockdown.
My neighbour has a business selling window blinds and there was 5 cars outside their 2 houses this morning. Not exactly an essential business.
Parents (in their mid-70s) and cousins won't listen.
I've given up tbh, because no-one's listening.
To be honest it sums up the Covid response in general, just a pure mess. Did you see this article? https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/tesco-apologises-after-wrongly-saying-22906623
You cant buy a quilt to keep your child warm but you can get a bottle of wine. Somethings not right and don't blame some of them for kicking off.
Ann1984 I agree its only 2 weeks and its not the end of the world but I'm sorry if alcohol is classed as essential then something is seriously wrong
I'm not in Wales so no lockdown for me but I'm in tier 3 and you wouldn't guess your non essential can still be bought from internet if you really need them. We going out as little as possible. I'm going to do everything I can to protect my family.
Imnotcheap half the people are just trying to make a point for few likes on Internet
Some do have a point you try a kid if their birthday is in those two weeks that their birthday isn't essential. What is essential to one may not be to another. B&m learnt that from the beginning. ( My hubby works for B&M)
tracisinclair01 I popped to my local today and they said they not stopping people just hoping they be sensible. Whice signs are up at checkout
I do like the sentiment (protecting the smaller shops ) but sadly I think at times that they have forgotten that the internet and the likes of Amazon exist , so they are effectively driving more money away from all local shops onto the online traders .
By the way Ann, Stella is back down to £9.99 on Amazon . I said I'd post it when it dropped below £10 but someone beat me to it !
Golfforall thanks will grab some for other half normally get notifications on them as in my saves for later list
I wish that people listened more in the summer, it could have prevented covid cases from rising so rapidly
