Have just noticed more and more ads and videos popping up lately for TikTok and was wondering if anyone is using it? I don’t know anyone that is, but it does seem to be getting popular
It seems to be a lot of the younger generation (although I don’t actually know what age you are 
) my daughter is 9 and had been begging me for it as all her friends have it. I refused and had s look for myself and seems to be lots of young girls/boys dancing etc.. I would be to scared it’s a pedophiles playground as most are under age and some half clothed! My neighbours girl of 12 was ‘meeting friends‘ 2 weeks ago and when questioned turned out she was actually meeting a stranger (what she thought to be a boy) from this app and when her mum found out she was grounded and giving a good talking too. I would be very careful of this app think lots more bad things are to come of it 
I agree, from what I have seen of it (just on ads) it's definitely questionable.. young girls 12-13 years old, caked in make up and very little clothing, dancing in a sexualized way.. my 12 year old nieces friends are all into it, she's not allowed to have it! She even had a perv comment on an innocent school picture on instagram!! Kids are not safe on any kind of apps lately.. 
LittleLisaMarie it’s shockig isn’t it... makes me very scared for when my girls become teenagers and there’s little control on what I can stop them doing online Like this, the world is getting much worse as the years go on. Wish they would stay children for longer, but all seem to be growing up and looking years older with their makeup and dress sense
Leeannextx it is very scary and with everything else that's going on in the world it's not safe anywhere.. kids are not allowed to be kids anymore. 
I try to monitor everything my niece is on, I follow her on YouTube etc.. I used to follow her on instagram, that's how I found out a perv was trying to talk to her.. telling her she had sexy lips while dressed in a school uniform, wtf!! My brother has banned off most things now.
Apparently I’m classes as a millennial, which I was horrified by as I thought I was a touch older than that - I certainly don’t feel like a millennial as I do not use a lot of the social media platforms. I think the tiktok app is targeting generation z, so anyone born after 2000, and I agree with you, it’s a dangerous tool, but the kids all seem to want it

Lol I wouldn’t really have paid any attention to it normally, but lots of ads have popped up about it, with snippets of fun videos. But I don’t think Im young enough to use it - I don’t want to be spending all day sharing videos

So sad. All social media apps can be lots of fun and a source of enjoyment. But it’s also a very dangerous platform in the wrong hands
I was searching Any interesting topic seen few but choose one sorry topic is bit old but TikTok day by day brings new things like these days peoples start selling on TikTok they making money I really likes this app I learned so much thanks for this topic hxpexy 
Nope I don’t use tik tok, don’t see the point when there’s already Facebook and Instagram which I both use to look at videos but don’t post anything lol 
It should be banned, it's influencing too many young kids for all the wrong reasons
martinlufc5637 isn’t a ban just a way to restrict people’s freedom of expression? Surely it’s the parents responsibility to ensure their kids are not looking at things they’re not supposed to (I don’t use it, but like with many other apps, aren’t there things like parental controls?)
hspexy parents can only do much, teenagers especially will always find a way, I wouldn't call some of these videos on there freedom of expression, they are dangerous
