Does anyone use toothpaste to clean their kitchen hob?

I just use normal kitchen cleaners, especially Elbow Grease.

It’s cheaper to buy a hob cleaner rather than using toothpaste. I had one delivered today 500ml for £1.30 from Waitrose.

Ive never used it to clean the hob but will admit to cleaning the bathroom taps but only after a blob of toothpaste should fall off the toothbrush 😊

I use toothpaste for cleaning my hands after working in the garden, also getting oil off my hands. Image

Just use the pink stuff, that’s great. I assume using toothpaste will cost more to use. Image

I have used toothpaste to clean my grouting before and it works a treat but I just use either astonish hob cleaner or elbow grease cream cleaner on my hob.

MrsCraig I must walk around with my eyes closed 🤦‍♀️ I’ll need to pay attention next time I’m in HB. I like EG but for the life of me, I can’t stand The Pink Stuff .... the smell eugh 🤣

BORDERJOE yes, I used to think people meant ‘put more effort into it’ when I saw any reference to EG. It’s a revelation!

BORDERJOE I used to think people meant putting more effort into it too, until I actually saw the product! I love EG, it actually works and it isn't expensive either.

HappyTravels I had never noticed it either. I was in Home Bargains and over heard a conversation between 2 woman where one of them mentioned the EG cream and she kindly showed me where it was! I'm not a massive fan of the pink stuff either, much prefer EG

Toothpaste is for enamels and spot breakouts! 😆 I'm not a fan of the Pink Stuff or Elbow Grease but swear by Hob Brite. It was discontinued for a while but it simply eats through stains and grease without leaving any damage.
