Which is the best metal vessel for cooking?
Many people say that the non stick coating on the cooking vessels are very harmful when they get mixed with food over time. My cooktop is electric hob. I find that only when i use non stick vessels my food doesn't stick to the bottom. What can be my alternative? Please suggest. Thank you
Don't worry about it. Non-stick pans are safe when used properly and taken care of.
1. Buy a decent quality one
2. Avoid scratching the surface of your pans (i.e don't use metal implements)
3. Stop using the pan if the non-stick coating begins to flake off
4. Don't ingest non-stick coating flakes
5. Even if you do ingest small flakes of non-stick coating, it is not dangerous. They will just pass through the body.
