What's The View From Your House?
Ask a Question
I'm just watching Dream House in 100 Days and everyone wanted to make the most of their views. Where I currently live, it's in a housing estate so it's just houses.
We used to have a view overlooking fields, what's your view of ?
To the back of us there are just more houses, although if you look out from upstairs you can see fields and woods in the distance.
From the front we can see some woodland behind the houses opposite.
It must be great having woods so close, it's just houses where I live. I would love a sea view but the nearest coast is 40 miles away
beccatavender It's funny you talk of sea views.
There was a house for sale at the top of our road boasting about sea views. Bit weird we thought as the nearest sea is 6 miles away.
There idea of a sea view was climbing into the attic, opening the skylight, craning your neck ninety degrees, and you may see a thin sliver of sea on the horizon if it was a clear day.
I am very lucky that I live in a bungalow so first of all I am not overlooked. I have one neighbour. My outlook is grass and trees.
One of our views is our back garden and if upstairs our neighbours houses. Our other view is of the Pentland hills, Arthur's seat, the Forth, the bridges and the surrounding areas. We live on a hill so can see everything around us. Our next view will be the back garden and the private road leading to the house.
Sounds beautiful, great to see things in the distance, especially if they are well known sites
beccatavender it is the one thing everyone comments on when they are at our house, that we have an amazing view from the front.
We live in the country, so our view from all sides is mostly fields. At the minute at the back we have lambs (growing quickly), and at the front some dexter cattle.
beccatavender you really do. I have 2 young boys too and they love it! Thankfully they are really outdoorsy too
I live on a farm the front of the house have lovely sea views and the back of the house have lovely mountain views and the beach is only 5 miles away and my neast house is half mile away there are some lovely walks wear I live and we got woods to walk in which is about 10 miles away I just love it hear.
Just houses from downstairs, but upstairs in winter when thereβs no leaves on the trees you can see mountains way off in the distance poking out over the houses.
from the front windows we look onto houses but from the back we have fields, the old railway line a Golf course and the sea
I'm a golf widow, my husband plays at least 3 times a week and golf always seems to be on the TV heatherduthie
This is the view from my window I just have to cross a road an I am on open fields and wood land and the beach is only 30mins away and I am quite close to beamish museum which is a good day out
beccatavender I have not been for a while but itβs just starting to open up so I am hoping to get this month as they have added some new attractions
Back used to be cows in fields and farmhouse but lost the poor cows, front mainly buried in trees and bushes
Outside mine is a main road but there is loads of trees and the birds make beautiful sounds in morning its bliss
