Virgin Mobile Reliability?

My partner is looking to renew his phone contract and we have had some advertisement leaflets come through for Virgin Mobile, which offer some great contract deals with no upfront cost either. He is currently on Vodafone and I am on O2, so not sure what their signal and reliability is like. Do any of you use them as your network provider and what are they like? Thanks
I use virgin, and they're great for me, they run off of the EE network and have 99% coverage of the UK, I'm in Newcastle upon Tyne for reference.
You csn check their coverage checker on their website to make 100% sure, also it won't harm to get a free virgin mobile pay as you go card and try it out for a day or so?
I am with giffgaff. Best phone provider that I have so far. I like that it is not a contract based but rather a reoccurring plan that you can stop anytime on the app. The app is great as I log in with my fingerprint. I am on the £6 a month:; 500 MB (Mobile Data), 300 minutes of call, and 500 texts!
That's not too brilliant. I am with Virgin and for £10.75 per month get 2 gb, 1000 minutes, unlimited calls to other virgin users and unlimited texts.
Never been overcharged or had any other problems so I stay loyal.
