Do You Get Vouchers as a Gift, What is Your Preference?
Other
Although it may be a boring gift to receive, at least with vouchers you can choose what you really want/need, rather than what others think you'd like.
I love receiving Amazon vouchers, the choice is huge, but also like getting supermarket stores vouchers for Sainsbury's or Tesco.
I am also grateful for cinema and restaurant vouchers as I can have a nice night out without paying!
I love getting vouchers as a present! My mil gets me a voucher for xmas each year and it means I can buy what I need throughout the year. They are definitely handy when you have a wee one! Means you can put the money towards other things.
And for some reason vouchers don't seem as embarrassing as receiving money, although it is basically the same.
They're boring, but yes, you get to choose what you want at least. Amazon for me if you ever want to get me something
Lynibis now that's a question! Mostly nice, but naughty when it's appropriate (or should that be inappropriate?).
I love getting gifts from my children, I suppose it's still the child in me, loving the surprise. Also, with gift vouchers I always end up spending them on something I need, whereas the odd frivolous gift is quite nice
I rarely gift vouchers. Last time was a nephew was marrying for the umpteenth time, they requested John Lewis vouchers. I’d happily put cash or a cheque in a decorated envelope for them to choose something they like.
