Want to Work for EasyJet When Youre over 50?
Ask a Question

I’m glad they’re considering older people for such a taxing job - it’s often long hours at anti social times, dealing with unruly customers & probably requires lots of energy that you would clearly have at 50+
I’m not quite there yet, but it’s a no from me
Would you consider working for EasyJet when you get to that age?
Not sure about that. I'm looking to make life less stressful and hard, for example, some of the duties that family expect me to perform I'm not doing next year, which they don't know yet. I don't want to be dealing with unruly customers.
Sherrifffroggy me neither - the idea of herding a crowd, often those who haven’t paid very much for their tickets yet are extra demanding, doesn’t appeal to me
I have always fancied being cabin crew, mostly for the travel benefits but I don't think I'd want to work for Easyjet as they are more short haul and if I were going to do it I would want to be able to go places further afield. I don't think it would be easy to maintain a relationship though if flying long distance as would be away for most of the week. I think it could also be a pretty demanding job depending upon who the passengers are.
